I am an avid concert goer and have seen concerts ranging from the incredible Sir Paul McCartney, the beautiful Shania Twain, and the exquisite sounds of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. While each has been very different, they all amazed me in their own way.

That is the power of music, and going to these concerts is what got me into music in the first place. This is true for almost any musician—they heard a great song on the radio or they saw a fantastic live performance and it moved them. It encouraged them and they discovered that this is what they wanted to pursue.

Music is a universal language; it brings people together and spreads joy and meaning throughout humankind. I strongly believe in music, and I believe even more so that everyone should at least try learning an instrument.

One incredible instrument that I recommend is the bass guitar. It often does not get the recognition it deserves, but it is an incredible instrument. One of the brands on the market today is the ESP LTD B Series Five-String Bass Guitar. It is available to buy online and comes at an affordable price.

Verdict

As I stated before, buying a new musical instrument is an investment. There are so many brands out there to choose from that vary in price from under $100 all the way up to tens of thousands of dollars.

It may be cheaper to buy a bass online, and I do recommend doing so, but I also recommend going in person to the store to hold it yourself. Go in person, test it out for yourself, and then buy online; this will avoid any disappointment and will let you know what you’re getting.

Musical instruments are all about personal preference, and what someone else might love, you might hate; never buy one online without at least holding the brand in a store.

That being said, I highly recommend the ESP LTD B Series Five-String Bass Guitar for anyone who enjoys playing the bass, either for their first time, or as an avid user. It is a high-end bass with a variety of options.

It has a fantastic EQ system built into the bass itself, also with a fantastic unique look for an electric bass. It is also equipped with 5 strings, which is a must for a “modern” bass player who is looking to hit those really low notes.

The only downside is the ESP does not come with any additional materials (such as a nice set of strings or more importantly, a case) so there will be more costs involved if you want to protect your bass. That being said, it is fantastic, and I do recommend it!
